Shadowing Dr. Vokshoor was one of my most rewarding experiences as a pre-medical undergraduate. In one week, I was able to sit in multiple clinics, observe two spinal surgeries, and gain valuable insight into the daily life of a neurosurgeon.

What inspired me the most during my time in the internship was seeing how much time and energy Dr. Vokshoor spent into making sure each of his patients were fully taken care of. To see the look of gratitude in each of his patients' eyes as they spoke with Dr. Vokshoor was a reward in itself. I definitely learned a lot in the matter of one week. It opened my eyes to what life as a physician could and will be like, and I am grateful to have had this opportunity."
