Guided Meditations and Breath Work Exercises

Focusing on our mental health is vital during this time as we learn to deal with all of these new, abnormal stresses. At the Institute of Neuro Innovation, we are adamant about supporting the mental health of our community, especially during this exceptionally difficult time. Coming together using online platforms for virtually guided meditations and breath work education sessions helps us remain socially connected, relieving our stresses together, while still physically distancing.

Virtual Guided Meditation Sessions

In late March 2020 we began hosting publicly available live guided meditation sessions via Zoom and Instagram Live. We plan to continue holding these types of meditation sessions for as long as they are needed.

Breath Work Education Sessions

Over the past two weeks, the Institute of Neuro Innovation has been collaborating with Snyder Diamond and Neurovella Brain Spa to provide educational diaphragmatic breathing exercise sessions. We are excited to share recordings of these sessions with you!

Session one is the beginner session in which Dr. Amir Vokshoor reviews what diaphragmatic breathing is and how to properly perform it. He then takes you through a guided breathing exercise where you count from 100 to 70.

Session two is the advanced session in which Dr. Vokshoor guides you through an advanced variation of the diaphragmatic breathing exercise as you count from 100 to 0.
