Rio Mohan Dluzak is a lifelong entrepreneur and science advocate who is driven by her passion for neuroscience, applying current advances, and innovating future applications to achieve real-world impact.
In 2011, Mrs. Dluzak joined the I.N.I. Board, initially focusing on strategic funds development. Her role expanded to include the development of I.N.I.’s education program, which also supports her personal goal of making neuroscience education more accessible to the public.
Rio also serves as Bay Area Chapter President of Science Debate, which is dedicated to elevating science and engineering policy issues in our national political dialogue.
In addition to her own entrepreneurial ventures, Mrs. Dluzak has advised numerous for-profit and non-profit entities in the areas of strategic business development and community outreach.
Rio received a bachelor's degree in Biological Psychology from University of California, Berkeley, and plans to resume her pursuit of a Ph.D. in Neuroscience in the near future.
