As a founder of Kramer Holcomb Sheik LLP, Shahrokh Sheik proudly represents clients in Newport Beach and Los Angeles, California.
He focuses his practice on business and corporate transactional law, trademark, entertainment and outside general counsel services. Mr. Sheik's cases often involve the following matters: licensing, litigation, royalty collections, copyright, talent representation, vendor contracts, partnership agreements and capital finance.
While earning a Bachelor of Science at California State University Long Beach, Mr. Sheik helped to found the school's law society and served as president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He then attended Southwestern Law School, where he served as associate editor of the school's law review. He received a Juris Doctor in 2006.
With nearly a decade of experience, Mr. Sheik has a firm understanding of what it takes to protect a business's intellectual property. He is a consistent advocate for his clients, whether he is taking a shareholder agreement to litigation or providing counsel on a film's production and distribution. Fluent in English and Farsi, Mr. Sheik has represented people and businesses in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, commerce and fashion.
A published author, Mr. Sheik is active in the legal community and has participated in speaking engagements related to his practice area. Additionally, he chairs the board of directors of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property Section.
When he is not working with clients, Mr. Sheik serves on the board of directors of Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County. He also serves as treasurer for the Southwestern Law School Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Alumni Association's board of directors.
